Delivering True Beauty - BIG® are global leaders in hair extensions, professional hair styling tools and luxury haircare, with direct to consumer, trade and wholesale divisions. We are powered by a team of over 500 ambitious, beauty experts - incorporating 12 brands in 9 countries, across five continents. Our 12 international brands include Beauty Works, Bellami, Hairtalk, Glam Seamless, Luxy, Zala, Halo Couture, and more. This role will be based within the UK Hub supporting our European BIG strategy.


Job Summary

Reporting into Sales and Customer Services, this role is an addition to develop the Desk Based Sales Team, focussing on our Swedish customers.

The role will focus on growing our customer base by acquiring new business and taking care of existing accounts. You'll be making & receiving calls, promoting special deals, and ensuring our customer base thrive with repeat custom and bigger orders. Role Outline & responsibilities

  • Manage accounts – this will be via telephone contact with a wide customer base
  • Respond promptly to customer enquiries/orders
  • Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle product and service enquiries
  • Implement promotional and marketing material
  • Open all new accounts with an order
  • Maintain an active prospect list of both warm and cold prospects
  • Create strong and trustworthy business relationships
  • Manage complexity and achieve results with integrity
  • Interact at all levels effectively
  • Build deep customer intelligence and data
  • Build and nurture internal and external business relationships
  • Reply and action queries/tasks in a timely manner


Key Skills

  • Background from the hair and beauty industry advantageous
  • Strong Swedish language skills (written and verbal) required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written in English and Swedish
  • Strong listening skills
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Ability to work with Salesforce, Forecasting Trackers, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, & Email
  • Ability to gain and maintain strong professional relationships
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Exceptional time management
  • Results driven to achieve individual plus team targets across all sectors of the business
