SENCO - Portsmouth - ASAS Start
Academics are recruiting on behalf of a Secondary School in Portsmouth who are looking to appoint an experienced SENCO to join their team ASAP.
As an experienced SENCO, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all of their pupils receive the support and resources needed to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
This is a full-time, temp to perm role starting ASAP and ideally suited to someone who lives in Portsmouth.
As a SENCO, you will be expected to make a significant contribution to the core purpose of our school which is to ensure that all pupils achieve their best personal, social, and academic potential. The SENCO is expected to take a leading role in ensuring that all EHCP objectives are supported, whilst promoting and modelling high standards for all pupils and supporting a cohesive and positive ethos within the school.
The suitable SENCO will have QTS and the SENCO Qualification, or be working towards this. You will have extensive SEN experience and knowledge and ideally have had middle management experience.
