Job Description
Do you currently work as an Automatic Or Industrial Door and looking to move to the next step in your career? If so, A leading loading bay and shutter manufacturer has a newly created Engineering Manager opportunity for someone with a current background within their industry. You will be training other technicians within the M25 area and completing new employees inductions. Whilst the company offer a full training and development program, previous experience as a Door Engineer is essential.On offer is an impressive base salary of £52,500+ (£65K OTE) in your first year, a modern fully racked company van, PDA & mobile phone is on offer with premium overtime paid. You'll get full Door to door payment, Company Pension Scheme, 25 days holidays + Bank Holidays and much more.
Responsibilities of an Engineering Manager
You'll be reporting to the Regional Manager and be expected to be on hand for other members of the team as and when required. You will also go out to site and assist engineers and complete minimal "on the the tools" tasks. You'll be expected to ensure all relevant paperwork is completed accurately, arrange and attend regular training courses to maintain up-to-date knowledge of equipment, as well be an active team player sustaining the company's fantastic reputation and future growth.
Requirements of a successful Engineering Manager
IPAF, PASMA, CSCS or NVQ
Previous practical experience working on Shutters, sectionals, or loading bays
People management skills and lead by example
Excellent customer service skills
Electrical, welding or hydraulics experienceSalary and Benefits for an Engineering Manager
Attractive starting base salary of £52,500 package OTE circa £65k+ in your first year
Overtime rates paid at 1.5 minimum
Paid door to door
Company van and fuel card
25 days annual leave and 8 bank holidays (33 total)
Company pension scheme
Company bonus each year (2023 - £1,800)
Company laptop and phone
