As our Purchase Ledger Manager, you will be at the heart of our financial operations, driving efficiency, ensuring accuracy, and fostering vital relationships with stakeholders. This is a unique opportunity to lead a core team, implement impactful process improvements, and influence the financial health of a successful business.


What You’ll Be Doing:

Mastering Financial Operations

Lead the accounts payable process, ensuring seamless invoice processing, payments, and account reconciliations.

Manage a global back-office team, collaborating across borders for operational excellence.

Building Vendor Relationships

Cultivate and maintain strong partnerships with vendors, ensuring timely resolutions to queries and fostering trust and collaboration.

Delivering Insightful Reporting

Produce and present financial reports that inform decision-making and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Driving Innovation

Identify opportunities for process improvements to optimize efficiency and accuracy in the accounts payable function.

Ensuring Compliance and Control

Uphold company policies and conduct audits to mitigate risks and resolve discrepancies effectively.

Inspiring Team Leadership

Lead, mentor, and develop the accounts payable team, creating a culture of collaboration, growth, and excellence.

Strengthening Stakeholder Collaboration

Engage with senior leaders and stakeholders through regular updates on operations, team performance, and strategic initiatives.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience: At least 5 years in accounts payable, with 2+ years in a supervisory or managerial capacity, preferably in logistics or transportation.

Skills:

  • Deep understanding of accounting principles and processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills to work effectively with teams, vendors, and senior management.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules, including occasional overtime or weekend work.
