Job Description
Manaba are very proud to be working closely with an ofsted rated 'Good' secondary school in Horndean, Hampshire who are looking for a full-time Science Teacher (if possible with a Physics specialism) from Jan 2025. QTS/QTLS or an overseas Teaching Licence is essential.
Responsibilities:
* You will be able to teach secondary Science, up to GCSE & A-Level
* You will possess excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to ensuring all students achieve their full potential
* Responsibilities include planning schemes of work, therefore PPA time will be provided
* You will have a thorough understanding of safeguarding, ensuring any concerns are reported
* To actively contribute towards a positive culture within the school
* Being committed to an ‘opportunities for all’ culture.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential for this role
* DBS Enhanced Disclosure will be required
* You will be able to provide satisfactory teaching references
* Be reliable, enthusiastic, creative and honest
* Have the ability to engage and include all students
