Job Description
Alliance Personnel are currently recruiting for workshop technician for one of their clients based in Lichfield.
Purpose of Role:
To undertake modifications to standard products to customer specifications using different workshop equipment and tools.
Following a schedule, you will achieve the required quality standards and lead times in your work, which may also include site visits and site work, when required.
You will work to the highest standards of Health and Safety.
Key Responsibilities:
* Follow a workshop schedule in prioritising and delivering your work
* Ensure product modifications meet the required quality standards
* Ensure lead times are met
* Support with site issues, as required by the technical team
* Assist with work in fabrication or warehouse, as required
* Undertake training to continuously improve own skills and learn to use new equipment and tools
* Comply with H&S requirements
* Carry out any reasonable task as requested by the Workshop and Fabrication Manager
* Engage in the use of all company communication formats e.g., SharePoint
* It is expected all employees support and abide to the company's team values and culture
Key Performance Indicators:
* Workshop lead times
* Right first time
* Health & Safety – zero accidents
Working hours: Monday - Friday 7am - 4pm with 1hrs unpaid break.
Standard Pay £13.00
Overtime Pay £19.50
Temp to Perm 12 weeks
