Job Title: Site Environment, Health and Safety Manager
Job Reward: Up to £55k Target Band, 10% Bonus
The Client: FMCG Manufacturing business
Reporting to: Site Operations Director
Job Type: Permanent, newly created role, onsite
Job Location: Working onsite, Cheshire East, commutable from Winsford, Nantwich, Crewe, Stoke, Chester etc.

Responsibilities & Duties – Site Health, Safety & Environmental Manager

Visible, onsite, leading the Health, Safety & Environmental function across the site, responsible for implementing H&SE management systems
An EHS Manager who will lead the development and implementation of the site’s Environment, Health & Safety deployment plan to deliver objectives in line with the Group Sustainability and HSE Strategy
Coach and mentor the teams around HSE initiatives
Leads BBS (Behaviour Based Safety) program
Develop and implement Environmental Management System
Develop effective EH&S risk management program to ensure compliance
Lead the investigation of accidents, Environmental and H&S incidents to identify, implement and maintain corrective actions
Analyze EH&S lagging and leading KPIs to identify improvement
Embed an operationsal HSE framework

Essential experience and qualifications – Site Health, Safety & Environmental Manager

FMCG experience ideally within logistics, supply chain or manufacturing environments
Empower all levels of workforce, floor to SLT
Visible and approachable - ALWAYS!
A NEBOSH qualification, Certificate or Diploma
Delivering an effective framework for safety program management
Lead and support the development of the company sustainability strategy
Serve as the subject-matter expert – accountable and responsible safety person
Delivering an effective framework of incident investigation, auditing, and training oversight
Delivering safety support, coaching and advice to the operational leadership
Detailed knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental regulations
Manufacturing and factory site experience preferred
PUWER and / or DESEAR would be awesome
