Job Description
We’re hiring for a Junior Design Engineer to join a leading provider of CNC machining solutions at their modern facility in Leamington Spa.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a collaborative team delivering high-quality turnkey projects for manufacturing clients.

* Monday – Friday 8:30 – 5:30 (early finish on Fridays)

What will you be doing as a Junior Design Engineer?
* Creating detailed engineering drawings using 3D CAD software, including bill of materials, general arrangements, and detailed manufacturing designs
* Designing and developing mechanical components and systems for turnkey automation projects
* Supporting the engineering team with drawing releases, change requests, and document control
* Providing design information and clarification to meet project requirements
* Collaborating with the automation team to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results
What do you need?
* Proficiency in 3D CAD software, ideally Autodesk Inventor (experience with SolidWorks, Catia, Fusion 360, or similar is also considered)
* Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Teams
* Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive and detail-oriented approach
* Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components and systems for automation (desirable)
* Familiarity with designing automation systems, jigs and fixtures, robot tooling, and bespoke machine tending systems (desirable)
