Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Service Technician to join the existing team here at our Esher branch, based in Surrey.
Role Purpose:
Reporting directly to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of all equipment associated with Horticultural machinery that is sold by the company's sales departments. This role will be solely workshop based.
Essential Skills/Experience:
Repair and maintain equipment for customers associated with Horticultural machinery
Diagnose faults and successfully carry out repairs and service work
Good knowledge of Utility, Garden and small Agricultural machinery
Knowledge of Domestic or Professional Grass Machinery and how it functions is advantageous
Ability to diagnose hydraulic and electrical faults using the latest software
Have the ability to work alone using own initiative and as part of a team
Heavy lifting but apply common sense to items that require assistance
Good communication skills
Competent in the use of computers
Excellent customer service skills both face to face and over the telephone
Be self-motivated
Full clean driver's licence
Additional Information
Start Date: Immediate, but subject successful candidates notice period
Location: Braintree, Essex
Hours: 39 hours per week - 8am to 5pm, Monday to Thursday and 8am to 4pm Friday (1 hour unpaid lunch)
Overtime above 39 hours per week will be paid at time and a half
Salary: £Competitive, depending upon experience
Contract: Permanent, Full Time, Hourly Paid
