Job Description
The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has an Administrative Assistant - Front Desk career opportunity within the Montana State Hospital.
The Montana State Hospital (MSH) in Warm Springs provides inpatient psychiatric treatment for adults with serious mental illness. MSH is the only public psychiatric hospital in Montana that serves people admitted from communities across the state.
Job Overview: This position coordinates internal and external communications hospital wide and provides a first contact response to visitors. Provides a security/emergency gatekeeper function.

- Knowledge of administrative practices and office procedures.
- Knowledge of customer services practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize work.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- One year customer service experience preferred.
- One to two years of experience performing a variety of office or clerical support preferred.
- Other combinations of education and experience may be substituted on a case-by-case basis.
