Job Description

? Work very closely with logistical partners working at sister site and commercial partners on site to support the Logistics business area including planning, sales and production forecasting on Supply Chain issues by analyzing and coordinating the US supply chain.
  • Ensure the performance of the supply chain from order to shipment.
  • Track inventory and orders as well as forecast future supply needs.
  • Work in a supervisory capacity, overseeing a variety of different employees and teams within the supply chain to ensure that the overall process runs smoothly.

Procurement
    • Procure finished products, components, materials and tools for the North American sites and monitor supplier performance.
    • Attend and represent purchasing in internal and external audits.




Inventory Management
    • Maintain adequate inventory, scheduling and receiving shipments of material as well as finished products.
    • Oversee the inventory excess and obsolescence process.




Reverse Logistics
    • Coordinate and reverse logistics process including processing customer credit returns and returned goods shipments to the Central DC in Europe.




Demand Planning
    • Coordinate sales and operations process with the North America commercial partners and the planning teams in Denmark and Poland.
    • Assess current orders and forecast future demand in order to provide adequate supplies.
    • Respond to these changes in demand and solving any supply chain problems that arise.
    • Communicate at a high level with both suppliers and customers to maintain consistent order volume or order mix.
    • Perform all of the above using: AXAPTA, Navision, PowerQuery, QAD, Microsoft Office Applications and work with Power BI, BI cubes and SQL servers and Tableau.
    • Work on multiple streams simultaneously and manage overlapping projects and activities.
    • Drive improvements and identify opportunities for improvement by reducing cost and improving efficiency.
    • Maintain work order management and understanding the hearing aid manufacturing processes, needs and demands, QC&QA processes, Credit Returns processes, and the Service processes.
    • Perform all of the foregoing for supply chain management in the hearing aid industry.
    • Must present results verbally and in writing.




EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or Related Field and 6 months of experience in the job offered or 6 months of experience in the Related Occupation.

  • Leading team in various project and project streams, ensuring that project deliverables are achieved and the overall process runs smoothly.

Procurement
    • Monitoring suppliers performance on freight costs and analyzing and supporting procurement department in optimizing freight costs driven by suppliers. Ensuring North American sites with



both new and old versions of firmware products during firmware upgrade.

Inventory Management
    • Maintain adequate inventory, scheduling and receiving shipments of material as well as finished products.
    • Analyzing inventory in sister sites (incl. US) and involved in global inventory management project with aim to reduce excess stock in sister sites. Develop inventory monitoring tool.




Reverse Logistics
    • Supporting aftersales department in analyses of returns from sister sites to central DC in Europe




Demand Planning
    • Coordinating capacity planning with planning teams in Denmark and Poland, as part of the sales and operations process ensuring sufficient capacity for a.o. North American sites.
    • Assessing current orders and forecast future demand in order to provide adequate supplies.
    • Responding to these changes in demand and solving any supply chain problems that arise.
    • Communicating at a high level with both suppliers and customers to maintain consistent order volume or order mix.
