Job Description
Summary:
Provides marketing support to the divisions/branches of the company (specifically sales) to support the growth and expansion of all divisions. Acts as CRM/Marketing Automation admin and training support for sales and marketing team. In charge of digital marketing planning, execution and analytics with Microsoft D365, annual tradeshow calendar/budget, employee clothing program/budget, marketing promo/clothing site and all promotional items purchasing for Seneca. Overall ambassador of the corporate brand in all aspects of the position - collateral, digital, fleet, clothing, booth space, etc.
Responsibilities:
• 30%: Responsible for the planning and execution of all corporate events and tradeshows - including budget recommendations and execution within the set budget. This includes ideas for new displays, promotional items, pre-show promotion and post show analytics/reviews.
• 30%: Manages overall clothing/promotional items program (6-figure program) includes employee allowance program (Spring/Fall), sales program (on-going with quarterly budgets allocated) and general employee program (on-going employee funded program). Key decision maker in regard to what is offered in each program, budget and execution. Partners with Accounting division to reconcile the budget annually.
• 20%: Creates and implement marketing campaigns - digital, flyers, case studies, etc. for all divisions/branches - from conception to completion - including copywriting, design, review and proof process, printing, mailing, posting, etc. Uphold all set brand standards. Drive process for all ROI calculations for success of all marketing campaigns.
• 10%: Acts as Microsoft D365 CRM and Marketing administrator in conjunction with Seneca IT. This involves learning the system at an expert level, helping resolve support issues with IT/RSM and training of the sales and marketing staff to understand how to use the tools as well as why certain details are necessary for the success of the program in its entirety. Provides expertise and consulting regarding the reporting functionality of each system to generate accurate reports.
• 10%: Assists with other marketing duties as assigned - photography (within safety guidelines), videos, website updates (main and ecommerce), social media posts (Facebook. Twitter and Linked-In), special projects, etc.
Requirements:
• Education: Four-year college degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Advertising or related fields required.
• Experience: 7 years experience in marketing, advertising and/or communications field. Extensive tradeshow planning experience required.
• Licenses/Certifications: Valid drivers license required. AMA-recognized marketing certifications preferred.
• Technical Abilities: Proficiency with standard marketing concepts, practices and procedures. Excellent Microsoft Office capabilities including Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, PhotoShop and Illustrator) and web editing content management systems (CMS) is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with knowledge of AP Stylebook guidelines. Strong proofreading skills with strong attention to detail. The willingness to embrace change and technology. Experience with CRM and marketing automation tools is necessary. Ability to: handle multiple tasks; prioritize projects; meet tight deadlines; work independently.
• Autonomy/Direction: Performs a variety of tasks throughout the marketing spectrum. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Conditions of Employment/Working Conditions:
• Working Hazards: Works in a seated position for an extended period of time.
• Travel: 20% - required to attend large tradeshows and corporate events in a marketing support role.
• Physical/Mental Exertion Ability to perform light physical work, exerting up to 10 pounds of force on a frequent basis and up to 20 pounds of force on an occasional basis, performing such activities as fingering, grasping, lifting, reaching, crouching, and repetitive tasks. Work requires close mental and visual attention to detail.
• Tools and Equipment: Ability to accomplish the described duties through the use of appropriate computer and general office equipment. Microsoft Office Suite, Graphic Design - Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft 365 CRM and Marketing Automation programs and web design CMS.
