About the Client:


This client is one of the global market leaders in the logistics and freight forwarding industry, renowned for their innovative solutions and exceptional customer service. They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Director to join their team and drive their contract logistics division to new heights.


Key Responsibilities:



  1. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:

    • Develop and implement strategies to acquire new clients across various industries.

    • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.



  2. Strategic Development:

    • Lead the development and execution of sales strategies to achieve business objectives.

    • Identify market trends and opportunities to expand the client's contract logistics services.



  3. Leadership & Team Development:

    • Manage and mentor a team of sales professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

    • Provide leadership and direction to ensure the team meets and exceeds sales targets.



  4. Cross-Vertical Approach:

    • Work with clients from a range of industries, leveraging a cross-vertical approach to offer tailored logistics solutions.

    • Collaborate with internal teams to design and implement customised logistics solutions.



  5. Technical Expertise:

    • Utilise your knowledge of 3PL and 4PL logistics to develop competitive and innovative solutions.

    • Oversee tender management, pricing strategies, and RFQ processes.




Qualifications:



  1. Experience:

    • Minimum of 6 years of experience in sales development within the contract logistics sector.

    • Proven track record in 3PL and 4PL logistics.



  2. Skills:

    • Strong leadership and team management skills.

    • Excellent strategic planning and execution capabilities.

    • Proficient in customer building, pricing, tender management, and RFQ processes.

    • Solutions design expertise.



  3. Personal Attributes:

    • Highly motivated and results-oriented.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
