Job Description

We are looking for a System Administrator (m/f/d) for our IT Infrastructure team at Rocket Internet. The team is responsible for client support and for managing the day-to-day operations of our internal IT infrastructure.

The following tasks will be part of your new role:

• Deploy new hardware and software for staff
• Assist in on- and offboarding new colleagues and freelancers
• Provide help desk support (1st to 3rd level) and ensure all tickets are resolved in a timely manner
• Assist in the ongoing maintenance of Windows and MacOS clients
• Administer internal and external user accounts (G Suite, MS365, etc.)
• Assist with the inventory management of hardware, software and other IT supplies
• Assist the rest of the team in planning and executing internal projects by being the main contact for everything IT-related

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Experience in deploying and managing (hybrid) Windows-based environments
• Experience in working with Microsoft 365 services (Intune, Entra ID, Sharepoint, Teams etc.) and Azure
• Experience in supporting Windows and macOS clients
• Experience in using and supporting Google Workspace (e.g. Admin Console, Gmail, Calendar)
• Strong software and hardware troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills (hands-on mentality)
• Excellent written and spoken English skills, German is a plus

Nice to have

• Relevant programming experience in Powershell and/or Bash scripting for automation applications and/or HTML/CSS is a plus
• Experience with VMWare vSphere
• Experience with network management
• Experience with Linux/Unix
