Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with autism? Teaching Personnel are thrilled to be working with an outstanding Autism Specialist School in Horsham, dedicated to helping students with high-functioning autism achieve their best.
About the Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you’ll be instrumental in supporting students in a high-achieving environment. While the school specializes in autism, students work at a high academic level and work towards achieving GCSE qualifications. Your primary focus will be on assisting students with their sensory needs, supporting them emotionally, and boosting their confidence. We’re looking for someone enthusiastic, friendly, sociable, and highly professional.
Requirements:
• Full-time availability, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30/5:00 PM
• A genuine interest in supporting young people with autism
• Own transport and a full driving license (essential, due to limited public transport in the area)
Benefits:
• Competitive annual salary of £21,020 - £22,000 per year with full pay over half terms, summer holidays, and bank holidays
