Maintenance Technician / Handyperson

Temporary
£14.42 p/h – PAYE
Our client is of one of the fastest-growing property management companies on the south coast and they are expanding their in-house team who are dedicated to maintaining their commercial and residential properties and grounds to the highest standards.
You must be able to drive and have your own van, tools and PPE.
This role is a 3-month temporary contract which can go permanent for the right person. It is paid via PAYE, weekly, for the first 3 months.
As a handyman/woman / maintenance technician, your role will be to perform cleaning and repairs to properties in between tenants to get them ready in time to be re-let in a good condition. Duties will include;
Perform house/unit renovations & upgrades as directed and required.
Liaising with tenants to gain access for repairs.
Perform routine and scheduled maintenance of properties including painting, plumbing, carpentry etc.
Cleaning internal/external properties.
Garden maintenance.
Be able to prioritise work to complete assignments in a timely manner
Perform routine inspections of the property to check for maintenance problems.
Complete daily work order system.
Keep track of expenditure and receipts for items purchased for jobs.
Work using your own initiative and as part of an existing team when required
