Assistant Buyer

We have an incredible opportunity for an Assistant Buyer to join a highly recognised Retail company to support their growing Buying team! This role gives a real opportunity for progression and longevity for the right candidate.

What you'll do

• Play a vital role in delivering their ambitious growth plans
• Contribute to the development of the 3-6 month promotional strategy for your category, ensuring accuracy in pricing across all channels.
• Have a keen eye for relationship building and negotiation, coupled with an analytical approach
• Assist in driving sales and profit by implementing a variety of strategies.

Your role will involve optimising the product range, considering the in-store experience and its impact on customers and store colleagues.

What you will need

• Experience within a Buying background, preferably in Retail (2 years)
• Deep understanding of product assortment & market trends
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Experience in building relationship with Stakeholders
• Strong negotiation skills
