Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to join our team and deliver engaging, motivating lessons to pupils and students across all Key Stages. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Regularly assessing and monitoring pupil progress,
Ensuring that assessments are accurately recorded and reported to relevant stakeholders. You will teach students of varying ages and abilities, adapting your approach to meet diverse learning needs and maintaining the highest standards of teaching to raise attainment and progress.
As part of your role, you will contribute to:
The creation of high-quality learning resources and new schemes of work,
Taking ownership of both resources and the classroom environment.
You will collaborate closely with your faculty or department, contributing to planning and decision-making, and ensuring the effective implementation of these plans.
Liaising with the Head of Faculty/Department on all departmental matters will be a key aspect of your responsibilities, ensuring strong communication and alignment with departmental goals.You will also be committed to ensuring that all pupils meet or exceed their target grades while fostering a love for learning. You will promote students' personal development and positive behaviour not only through lessons and form periods but also through extra-curricular activities. Working as part of a motivated staff team, you will collaborate with colleagues to provide the best possible education for every student.
In addition to your teaching duties, you will act as a Form Tutor, attending meetings and carrying out administrative duties, providing pastoral care, and addressing the social and curricular needs of pupils. You will play a key role in contributing positively to the atmosphere of the school, upholding and implementing the school’s policies and ethos both inside and outside the classroom, as directed by the Headteacher. You will also support the whole-school approach to your subject area and actively engage in the school’s extra-curricular provision.
