The Role: Branch Manager
Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Branch Manager to oversee operations and drive growth within the branch’s geographical area. As a key leader within the branch, you will manage a team, ensure operational excellence, and play a vital role in identifying and capitalising on business opportunities to foster sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage all aspects of branch operations, ensuring sales targets and performance objectives are met.
* Oversee and motivate a close-knit branch team to achieve high standards of business excellence.
* Develop and implement strategies to increase branch sales, market share, and profitability.
* Identify and nurture new and existing business accounts, promoting strong, long-term relationships.
* Ensure exceptional customer service standards, addressing client needs both face-to-face and via telephone.
* Independently plan and oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth workflow and resource management.
Essential Requirements:
* Hardworking, ambitious, and self-motivated with a determination to succeed in a managerial role.
* Proven experience in managing and leading teams within a retail, sales, or wholesale environment.
* Strong communication, customer care, and leadership skills.
* Ability to work under pressure, independently, and collaboratively with the team.
* Professional and presentable appearance.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills.
* Valid UK driving licence.
Desirable:
* Previous managerial experience within the electrical or wholesale industry.
* Knowledge of the local infrastructure and business landscape.
