The Role:
We are recruiting for a Make Every Adult Matters Worker to join a leading charity supporting women, men, and families affected by domestic abuse, homelessness, and other challenges in the North West. This is an opportunity to provide trauma-informed, person-centred support to individuals experiencing multiple disadvantages. You will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality interventions, empowering service users, and promoting system change through collaboration with multi-agency partners.
Duties:
Provide asset-based, trauma-informed support to individuals experiencing multiple disadvantages in Rochdale.
Build strong, supportive relationships with service users and professional partners.
Collaborate with partners to deliver high-quality services and challenge systems when necessary.
Conduct risk assessments and deliver safe, effective interventions.
Maintain accurate records of interventions and outcomes using data systems.
Participate in awareness-raising campaigns and deliver in-house training around the project.
Advocate for service users in multi-disciplinary meetings, promoting positive outcomes.
Required Skills:
Relevant qualification (e.g., Diploma/Degree/NVQ Level 5) or equivalent experience with a willingness to work towards a Level 5 qualification.
Experience supporting individuals with multiple disadvantages to overcome barriers.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to professionally challenge systems when needed.
Knowledge of safeguarding and risk assessment.
Commitment to trauma-informed, person-centred practice meeting company values of empowerment, choice, and change.
Proficiency in IT and data management systems.
Due to the nature of this role if successful you will need to be vehicle driver and undertake a DBS check.
