This role is a key position within that greenfield department.

What you will be doing

As a Portfolio Delivery Lead, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to deliver and implement high-quality products and projects on time and within scope using Agile methodologies.

Develop and execute the portfolio delivery roadmap, aligned with corporate strategy and goals looking out to 18 months minimum.

Working with the Director of Transformation, create, implement and continuously refine an ‘Agile first’ delivery framework suitable for a Medium sized enterprise.

Lead, drive and coach cross-functional teams in Agile methodologies to ensure effective and efficient delivery of products and projects. Lead review sessions to ensure IFG remain innovative and not hindered by a specific framework for delivery.

Hands on collaboration with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and create detailed project plans. Co-ordinate and manage planning and prioritisation session chaired by the Transformation Director.

Lead portfolio sprint planning, portfolio stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure continuous improvement.

Lead the identification and management of risks and dependencies across the enterprise, ensuring timely resolution and effective mitigation strategies. Coach and upskill business leads to manage their risks within their team aligned to the enterprise risk management model.

Maintain clear and proactive communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on portfolio status, risks, and issues. Leverage dynamic and collaborative tooling to ensure reporting is self-serve and automated where possible.

Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement within the team and across the organisation.

Monitor and measure the effectiveness of portfolio delivery by track and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) and project metrics to ensure project goals are met and progress communicated across enterprise.

What we are looking for

5+ years of experience in project management, with at least 3+ years in an Agile environment.

Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or similar Agile certifications.

Proficiency in Agile project management tools (e.g., MS Planner and PowerApps, Jira, Trello).

Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Extreme Programming (XP)).

Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Teams, Smartsheet).

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve high performance.
