What you'll do

Billing, Credit Risk & Collections are focussing on delivering the best outcomes for our customers, to support the commercial agenda across Vodafone UK.

The purpose of this role is to manage internal and external relationships with the aim of driving and supporting the creation of a value enablement strategy for BCRC. The role holder will:

Develop and implement a value enablement strategy
  • Liaise with senior stakeholders internally and externally to ensure we are unlocking value via bad debt, fraud, trading and customer optimisation
  • Key role in embedding and executing strategic change across BCRC, and cross functional impacts within VFUK
  • Commercial accountability to deliver margin through delivery of strategic partnerships
  • Significant senior stakeholder interactions internally across multiple key interclocks commercially, IT, legal & regs
  • Effective business casing and cost management to ensure execution of strategy is value accretive
Manage a portfolio of third party relationships
  • Organised & structured interaction with a suite of third party service providers
  • Lead a strategic reset and improved performance management including a assessment for innovation to support value creation
Support strategic transformation activity, representing BCRC in key interlocks with business units
  • Own the relationship with senior stakeholders from relevant business units aligned to organisation workstreams, holding regular interlock meetings to support strategic transformation activity and ensure BCRC are represented effectively in wider organisation activity and decision making

Who you are
  • Strong commercial acumen is critical alongside the intellectual curiosity to drive new thinking
  • Strong financial numeracy, previous experience of business casing & cost management is critical to deliver quantifiable rationale to the decisions we have made & want to make
  • Exceptional relationship building skills, with the ability to work with a range of internal stakeholders and third party service providers
  • Ability to work as an individual contributor as well as deliver through others across the BCRC & wider VF organisation.
  • Attention to detail & working in a structured way.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast paced environment
