As a Training Ambassador, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our colleagues within the Distribution Centre Environment. You will be responsible for delivering a variety of training programmes, including first-day onboarding training, to provide our colleagues with the best possible experience and start to their journey with our client. Collaborating with various departments and engaging with senior management, you will play a key role in enhancing the skills, knowledge, and performance of our colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
Align with the Training Supervisor to deliver training programmes aligned with business goals and objectives.
Coordinate and schedule training sessions, ensuring appropriate resources and facilities are available.
Assist in the onboarding process for new employees, providing training and guidance on essential skills and processes.
Collaborate with subject matter experts and internal stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and relevance of training content.
Role model the organisation's values and lead by example.
Deal with day-to-day queries from colleagues, liaising with HR, Training Teams, and Management as required.
Ensure compliance with Food Safety and Health & Safety standards, actively raising concerns and reporting incidents to the line manager.
Undertake basic problem-solving activities and escalate when necessary.
Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and Instructions.
Lead or be involved in ad hoc projects as and when required.
Additional responsibilities/duties as reasonably expected.
Skills and Experience:
Proven experience in delivering training programs, preferably within a warehouse or the food manufacturing industry.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Ability to manage multiple training projects simultaneously.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to changing business needs.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse audiences.
Passion for continuous learning and professional development.
Desirable Skills:
Experience using IT Tablets to deliver training.
Presentation experience.
Understanding of escalation processes.
