Project Architect - Data Centre Projects
We are very happy to be partnering with successful architecture firms that specialise in the dynamic and rapidly growing sector of Data Centre projects. These projects are among the most exciting and tech-led typologies in the industry, and our clients are expanding their teams at various levels to meet the demand.
We have similar roles with 4 different clients who are looking to grow DATA Centre teams. All practices are different and offer different level of experience. One thing they have in common is strong pipeline of projects, career progression and good salary and benefits.
Location: London (some of the roles offer potential travel to Europe for projects and client meetings)
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: DOE (£45-60K)
The Role
* As an architect or technologist at the practice, you’ll typically be engaged on a major client account, working with a range of stakeholders (both in and outside the business), and managing a project team. Most of the projects are in the commercial sectors of data centres, logistics, and warehouse projects
* A large proportion of the work is based both in the UK and outside of UK making travel opportunities available for those wishing to experience working on projects somewhere new.
* This role would suit a recently qualified architect, but applications are also welcomed from other relevant professional backgrounds, including architectural technologists and designers.
Key Responsibilities:
* A minimum of two years’ experience, preferably across all project work stages in a relevant sectors
* A good understanding of UK or EU permitting and construction
* Strong design skills and technical knowledge
* Solid working knowledge of REVIT
* Confident verbal and written communication skills
* Excellent team working skills and a positive, pro-active attitude
* Great organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet dead lines
* Fluent in written and spoken English
Preferred Qualifications:
* RIBA / ARB or ACIAT / CIAT qualified
* Minimum of 1+ years of experience in large-scale Data Centre, Warehouse, Logistics, or similar large-scale facility design
* Solid working proficiency with REVIT
* Proficiency in building codes and regulations
* Ability to travel internationally
