Job Description

A well- established Manchester based contractor who specialise in Commercial Fit out and refurbishment projects are looking to appoint a Project Manager to oversee a CAT A/ CAT B office fit out in Cheshire.

As a Project Manager, you'll play a vital role in overseeing the management of Commercial fit out projects ensuring the successful delivery of projects from start to finish. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

The Project Manager role will involve:

Responsible for all aspects of onsite Health & Safety to ensure compliance with legislation and company procedures
Cost management with the assistance and support of the commercial team
Providing support and coaching for your team, identifying their strengths and weaknesses, and encouraging improvements for future career development.
Managing and maintaining links between the project team and other company departments.
Managing your team; setting objectives and developing people within it
Ensure best practices and quality are being maintained
Be proactive in the identification and resolution of problems
Ensuring the project runs to program and budget
Work closely and liaise as required with the design team
Develop and maintain excellent relationships with the client and their representative
To monitor the progress of the project and manage issues as they arise
Responsible for all health and safety on site and liaison with the Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Manager
Ensure all documentation is correctly administered and Company Procedures are followed

Key Requirements:

Proven experience in delivering commercial office fit outs as the Project lead.
Strong leadership skills to effectively lead project teams and drive performance.
Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities to liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
Strategic mindset to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.
Commitment to upholding industry standards and best practices
