Job Description
We are actively seeking a Remedial & Minor Works Estimator for a well established company based in Birmingham. The role will be based in their main offices in Birmingham and looking to interview immediately.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Preparing accurate and detailed remedial and minor works quotations based on engineer visit reports.
* Identifying all aspects of required work, including part numbers, access needs, and equipment hire.
* Ensuring timely action on critical fail quotations and managing quotation backlogs.
* Liaising with engineers for clarification and improving reporting practices.
* Providing exceptional customer service to minimise attrition and drive customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
* Experience in remedial estimating within the fire or security industry.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver fast, accurate quotations.
* Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
* Self-motivated, with a commercial mindset and experience using SimPRO or similar platforms.
* Adaptable, organised, and capable of prioritising tasks under pressure.
* Technical knowledge of relevant products and solutions.
