Job Description
Job Title: Accountant
Location: Lytham
Remuneration: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum
Contract Details: Permanent, Full Time, Hybrid
Our client, a reputable organisation in the accounting industry, is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Accountant to join their team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance, and providing high-quality services.
Responsibilities:
Take care of a portfolio of clients, providing a compliant and professional service
Meet all compliance deadlines for clients and review work done by assistants
Prepare accounts, VAT returns, corporation tax returns, and other necessary compliance work
Handle bookkeeping tasks, using systems like Free Agent, Xero, and QuickBooks
Train junior team members and handle all client communications
Manage inbound and outbound post and ensure timely invoicing for clients
Collaborate with clients on tax planning and register them for relevant taxes with HMRC
Keep accurate and up-to-date records for clients at Companies House
Process payroll for clients and provide cover for colleagues when neededWhat we expect of you:
