Teaching Personnel are looking for a SEN Tutor in Northamptonshire and surrounding areas.
What we look for in a SEN Tutor:
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is not essential, but relevant experience or qualifications in education are highly desirable.
Experience with working with children with challenging behaviour.
SEN experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport and trust with students.
Flexibility and adaptability to tailor teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of individual students.
Your main responsibilities as a SEN Tutor:
Planning lessons and creating resources, according to the students’ needs and learning style, to create a bespoke individualised learning package.
Delivering tailored 1:1 tutoring sessions to students with SEN needs, supporting their academic progress and personal development.
Helping students to engage, encourage their active participation in the learning process.
Providing feedback for each session, on our bespoke learning platform LEAP.

Face to face and online tuition options available to suit your availability with tuition available during the school day or after school.
Referrals to support primary, secondary and post 16 aged students with subject specific areas. Children may be in a mainstream setting, special educational needs or alternate provision setting or without a school place and fall under the local authority awaiting a suitable school place.
Bespoke online reporting platform- 24/7 access to enable you to log immediate attendance details, feedback and assessments.
Online classroom platform- to enable you to deliver online tuition to students in a virtual environment. This platform offers all the tools you will require to deliver online tuition and is recorded for safeguarding purposes and for revision purposes.
Hourly rate of £25- £30 which is paid weekly
Access to free safeguarding and CPD courses as well as free access to assessment tools and resources.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
