Job Title: Qualified Food Technology Teacher

£31350 - £43607 Per annum
Job Duties:
Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons in Food Technology to students
Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing feedback and support where needed
Create a positive learning environment that encourages students' participation and interest in the subject
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum improvements
Keep accurate records of student attendance, performance, and grades
Required Qualifications:
Recognised teaching qualification in Food Technology
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Up-to-date knowledge of the Food Technology curriculum
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Food Technology or related field
Experience:
Previous experience teaching Food Technology in a school setting preferred
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong understanding of Food Technology principles and practises
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities
Organisational skills to plan lessons effectively and manage workload
Preferred Qualifications:
Postgraduate qualification in Education or Food Technology
Experience working with diverse student populations
Working Conditions:
This role involves working in a school environment, following the academic calendar. Regular working hours with occasional evening or weekend work required for school events or meetings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
