Veterinary Technician

Southeast Animal Hospital is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our team. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our furry patients. PLEASE APPLY IN PERSON at 3608 S. Gevers, Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Job Responsibilities: Surgical preparation of patients and anesthesia monitoring during surgery Assist with preventive care and perform dental prophylaxis IV catheterization and medication Handle discharge planning and provide critical care Conduct venipuncture, triage, and X-rays Collect and complete in-house labs and prepare samples to outside labs Assist doctor with in-patient and out-patient care Ensure wellness and vital signs are monitored Maintain accurate medical records and controlled drug logs Accurate invoicing of services Client education, review medications and discharge instructions with clients Animal husbandry and general welfare of all boarding and hospitalized patients Handle overflow of incoming calls, set appointment and assist customers with their inquiries Process payments and invoice services at patient discharge Job Requirements: CVA or LVT preferred Experience in anesthesia, catheterization, surgery, and radiology Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and organizational skills Must be available to work Saturdays and alternating weekends for kennel duties Benefits: 401(k) plan Flexible schedules Paid time off Southeast Animal Hospital is an equal opportunity employer.
