This position operates in a professional office environment, and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax. This position must work well in a team oriented, fast paced setting and can handle interruptions while maintaining productivity and accuracy. If traveling, employee may be exposed to weather conditions.

What you'll be doing
The Primary role of the Loan Officer Assistant is to assist in the initial document collection and submission of the loan to Processing within 5 days of the Application Date
You will be responsible for...
- Request, gather and analyze required loan documents
- Ensure completion of all loan documents
- Upload and clear task requirements to submit a loan into processing status
- Maintain shared pipeline report with each loan officer
- work with marketing department and help order flyers, business cards, folders for sales agents and realtors
- Call applicants to follow up and obtain all information not provided at loan application
- Input missing loan data to complete application for submission
- Assist with obtaining condo information, Realtor contact information, Attorney fee sheets and insurance binders
- Assist with ordering appraisals and title
- Assist with the structuring of loans and the calculation of income
- Review asset statements, paystubs, tax returns and other documentation provided by borrowers for large deposits, accuracy and to ensure that the documentation is complete
- Attend weekly pipeline meetings
- Assist with guiding clients through the mortgage process ensuring important dates are met
- Track new referrals
- Update and maintain closed loan database monthly
- Participate in ongoing training, continuing education, loan programs, guidelines, sales training, self-improvement

- Basic mortgage compliance knowledge
- Basic knowledge of processing requirements such as VOE, VOR, COE
- Strong written/verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with confidence and professionalism
- Strong Customer Service Skills
- Proficient Microsoft Office experience
- Basic Lending QB experience.
- High School Diploma / GED
- NMLS License Required
- 1 or more years of Loan Officer Assistant experience required
- 1 or more years of experience in the mortgage industry
