Full Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst in Business Systems and Cost Accounting to join our team. The ideal candidate will be well versed in ERP systems in a manufacturing environment and have prior experience with cost accounting. This position reports to the CFO.

Essential Responsibilities:

Systems:

• Analyze and understand business needs and provide data and reports needed for decision making.
• Design, test and implement new systems or modify existing ones to meet business needs.
• Monitor system performance and adjust as necessary to ensure optimal performance.
• Develop and maintain system documentation to serve as a reference for users and technical staff.
• Determine the feasibility and cost / benefit of system changes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop specifications and make recommendations to the Senior Leadership Team.
• Train staff and provide ongoing support and troubleshooting.
• Participate in the selection and implementation of new software or hardware.
• Keep abreast of technology trends and developments to recommend timely upgrades and enhancements.

Cost Accounting:

• Develop Cost Standards and keep the Standard Cost System updated on a regular basis.
• Analyze and audit the inventory costing to ensure that inventory valuations are precise for both the financial reporting and the ERP System.

Back up Support:

• Serve as a backup for our Financial Reporting and Accounts Payable during times of vacancy in the related positions, vacations, etc.

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
• Strong ERP experience with a concentration in manufacturing and cost accounting.
• Strong understanding of financial systems and processes.
• Proficiency in data analysis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Salary Description

$110k-$135k/year with bonus opportunities
