What you’ll do:

Mortgage Loan Production internship duties may include:

• Assist with the origination of commercial mortgage loans within defined parameters. Includes
• reviewing investment packages, underwriting new potential deals, attend conference calls with mortgage bankers and reviewing leases.
• Assist portfolio management team with loan ratings.
• Understand and follow OA Ways and industry best practices.
• Ensure compliance with and continually improve upon processes and procedures.

Additional Details:

• 11-week paid summer internship (May – August)
• 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday
• All work is expected to be hybrid, mandatory 2 days in office.
• Housing or stipends are available for eligible candidates.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in an accredited institution towards a 4-year undergraduate degree
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Completed at least 2 years towards a bachelor's degree.
• Preferred areas of study include Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Economics or another related subject.
• Preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Sophomore or Junior in college
• Strong judgment and decision-making
• Professional written and oral communication
• Forward thinking
• Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Have an interest in commercial real estate.
• Be familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Be able to juggle multiple tasks at the same time

This selected candidate will be expected to work in a Hybrid environment in Indianapolis, IN. The candidate will also be expected to physically return to the office as business needs dictate or for team-building and collaboration.
