Job Description : - 7 years (or more) of overall relevant industry experience and a track record of shipping server/storage/networking products for the enterprise, cloud data center and service provider markets. - Prior experience for working with ISV (Independent Software Vendors) and enabling IBV(Independent BIOS Vendors) for enabling x86 / ARM platforms. - Good written and verbal communication skills should be a quick learner and a team player. - Strong experience in board bring-up and trouble shooting and co-working hardware teams. - Strong problem-solving skills. - Experience with x86, ARM and/or RISC-V architecture. - Experience embedded firmware and/or device driver development. - Experience with pre-silicon development on FPGAs or simulation environments. - Experience with board, processor, or ASIC bring-up. - Experience in WLAN,BT/BLE Firmware,MAC. - Experience with DDR, SPI, eSPI, I2C, LPC, and PCIe. - Experience in hardware/software interfaces and debuging sophisticated issues in CPU and firmware using JTAG, source code debuggers and other tools is a must. - Experience with source control systems such as svn or git. - Experiences working with RTOS and other embedded OS environments. - Complete mastery of C programming language with recent programming experience. - Deep understanding of full product life cycle, software development methods (both Agile and Waterfall), and development and build environments. - Ability to thrive in fast-paced, highly dynamic environment, with a bias towards action and results. - B.Tech/B.E in CS/EC or EE Role & Responsibilities - Design, develop, debug, verify and/or validate firmware/ BIOS, software and/or hardware - Participant in day-to-day firmware/Software development work - Partner with Platform team to bring-up the BIOS and firmware during Embedded SOC bringup. - Partner with HW and Silicon validation teams for verification of all embedded features in the Silicon IP. - Support the triage and debug of critical bugs from BIOS side that require multi-team interactions. - Prior years of experience and/or education within the semiconductor industry - Experience producing quality firmware - Experience working with areas of Memory including DDR3/4/5, HBM, etc. - Work on software POCs (Proof of Concepts) for early enablement of new technology (ref:hirist.tech)
