Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and friendly School Administrator to join our team. This key role supports the smooth running of our school’s daily operations and is vital to creating a welcoming environment for students, parents, and staff.
As the School Administrator, you will be responsible for managing administrative tasks, handling inquiries from parents and visitors, maintaining student records, and supporting the school’s day-to-day functions. You will work closely with the leadership team to ensure efficient office operations and contribute to the school’s positive atmosphere.
We are looking for someone with excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a warm, professional approach to all interactions. Experience with SIMS or similar school administration software is beneficial but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and staff, handling phone and in-person inquiries
Maintain accurate student records and assist with attendance tracking
Manage school communications, including emails, newsletters, and notices
Support with scheduling, appointments, and event coordination
Order and manage school supplies and inventory
Requirements:
Prior experience in an administrative role (school setting is preferred)
Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
Familiarity with SIMS or other school databases is a plus
