Your new company
Hays Education are supporting a secondary school in the Sefton area as they are looking to recruit an experienced teaching assistant to support KS3 and KS4 classes. This is a temporary, long-term role with the potential of going permanent.
Your new role
In your new role in the school, you will be supporting KS3 and KS4 classes. You will be working alongside the class teacher to help deliver curriculum effectively, working 1:1 with SEN pupils and also taking some group work. This role starts in January.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered in your application, you must have full 'Right to work' in the UK as well as:
- 1+ years experience working within children/in a school
- Confident supporting students with maths and English amongst other subjects
- Be able to offer 1:1 and group sessions
- Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions
- Strong relationship building skills
