Higher Level Teaching Assistant (with additional before and after school care hours)

Working as part of a team in a busy, caring and friendly school environment we are looking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant who will work across our school.

The successful applicant will assist our Classroom Teachers as well as undertakingplayground, lunchtime cover and cover when teaching staff are absent. They will be our first point of contact when teachers are absent and will need to be flexible and happy to work in any year group as required.

The post is to start from January 2025 and is temporary for the academic year 2024-25, Term Time only (including INSET). The hours for this role can be discussed at interview.

Full time hours would be: Monday-Friday (8-4.15pm)

This role may be shared between more than one candidate if needed so part time hours would be considered.

The salary is dependent upon the agreed hours and based upon the following:

• HLTA Role: Grade H1-H5, £25,505 pa to £29,756 pa (FTE)
• Before and After School Care: Grade G1-G5, £23,114 to £26,157 pa (FTE)
