We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent Senior Quantity Surveyor (Senior Commercial Manager) to join our dynamic NMC SW Account team at Polmadie, Glasgow. This role offers hybrid working between home and office.
In this role, you will be the primary contact for all commercial matters within your area and provide expert advice and guidance to wider Contract teams and ensure the robust commercial management of subcontractors and supply chain partners including the preparation, review and evaluation of subcontract enquiries, quotations and payments, final accounts and input to dispute resolution
This role offers a unique opportunity to implement commercial best practices, maximizing value while minimizing risk and cost for Amey.
What You’ll Do:
· Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, review their work, and support their professional development.
· Monitor costs, comparing actual costs against budgeted amounts. Identify cost variances and provide recommendations for cost-saving measures.
· Producing monthly CVR’s
· Produce quarterly budgets and forecasts.
· Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for Task Orders

· A strong understanding of commercial reporting and implementation, supported by your excellent stakeholder management skills.

It is essential you have a driving licence as you may work from other sites/depots when required.
