Overview
We are still actively looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Design Manager / Design coordinator to work in the Design Management team on a Super High End Luxury Hotel refurbishment. This is an exciting opportunity to work on one of the finest hotels in the world.
Responsibilities
They are looking for a candidate who comes from a contractor background who can undertake the following tasks:-
Read drawings
Extract information from technical documents to create schedules with relevant details
Assist in preparing Contractor's Proposals with moderate support.
Familiar with technical assessment of contractor design and proposals.
Familiar with preparing trackers and schedules relating the to the development of a design
Willing to support the Design Manager in the running of meetings and taking and distribution of technical minutes.Candidate
2 years experience working with a contractor working on design and build contracts
Ideally holding a degree in architecture, design/project management, structural engineering, or civil engineering
Capacity to be based in London in the project office on a full time basis.
Aware of the responsibilities that fall to a Main Contractor in working on Design and Build
