Job Description
A major commercial vehicle manufacturer is looking for a parts advisor, mainly in the back desk but to also cover the front desk/counter at times of short staffing. Experience in any Car, Light commercial or commercial vehicle environment, LCV, HGV, Fleet, van, car or any automotive sector. Would proffer light commercial or Commercial sector experience in any capacity, but not essential. Or an Ex HGV Technician, Service advisor, parts tech etc someone who is dynamic, has a real flair & drive about them.

ROLE: The position is for a Parts Technician responsible for running the rear parts counter, but covering at front desk/counter when required and controlling stock movements.
The SpecificsRun and Support Back CountersPick and deliver correct parts to customers and workshop on time.Complete relevant documentation including invoices etc.Build and develop customer relationships and deliver excellent customer service.Work together with the workshop and other departmentsReturn warranty and service exchange units regularly.Receive and inspect all packages delivered, resolving any problems.Department housekeepingParts ordering using management tool effectively.Supply parts to customersDeal with suppliersPromote parts to customers to increase sales.Inform customers of any promotions that are running to help increase sales.Control stock in cost effective mannerDeal with customers/colleagues in professional mannerControl VOR/Freight charge costs
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Knowledge of Dealer parts systems, nice to haveCommercial vehicle or any automotive, car experienceCurrent driving licenceAbility to work within guidelines given and to strict deadlines.Ability to work under pressure.Ability to actively seek solutions to problems.Ability to work as part of a team.Good verbal communication skillsExcellent customer service skillsFlexibility to undertake a wide range of tasks.Awareness and understanding of health and safety requirements.Computer literate
