Job Description
TeamJobs are looking for Temp to Perm Maintenance Engineer to join our well-established client based in Fareham!
Pay rate: £32,000- 35,000 depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance and Repairs: Conduct general maintenance and repairs on a wide range of equipment, including HVAC, refrigeration, and electrical systems.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and service contracts.
Budget Management: Monitor and manage maintenance budgets to optimize costs.
Third-Party Management: Oversee third-party contractors, including vetting, risk assessments, and permit-to-work procedures.
Communication: Effectively communicate with site management and colleagues, providing timely updates and reports.
Call-Outs and Weekend Work: Be available for occasional call-outs and weekend work as required.Required Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of building services, electrical, and mechanical systems, particularly HVAC, refrigeration, and electrical equipment.
Health and Safety: Adherence to health and safety regulations and a strong commitment to safe working practices.
Qualifications: TEC/City & Guilds or time-served apprenticeship in an electrical/mechanical environment or building services.
Experience: Proven experience in a similar maintenance role, preferably within a distribution centre environment.
