Content Marketing Executive

MacGregor Black is partnering with a leading UK-based fashion business to find a creative and strategic Content Marketing Executive. This is a permanent role based in Hampshire.


This role will be instrumental in shaping the brand’s narrative and driving customer engagement through compelling content across various channels. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of brand storytelling and will work closely with multiple teams to deliver content that is aligned with business objectives and resonates with the target audience.


Key Responsibilities


  • Take ownership of content development for key customer-facing channels, including email marketing, website content, in-store signage, and promotional materials.
  • Create content strategies that elevate customer engagement, focusing on delivering tailored messaging that drives both brand loyalty and sales conversions.
  • Deeply understand the brand's tone of voice and values, ensuring that all content reflects the brand's ethos and vision.
  • Ensure consistency in messaging across all customer touchpoints, while tailoring content to suit the specific platform or audience, whether it's a digital ad, social media post, or in-store communication.
  • Partner with the merchandising and buying teams to develop content that supports key product launches, limited-time promotions, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Work hand-in-hand with the design team to create visually compelling content that enhances storytelling and creates a cohesive customer experience, from digital campaigns to physical store environments.
  • Ensure product descriptions, banners, and promotional content align with the overall marketing calendar and business objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with social media managers to ensure content is effectively integrated into the wider social strategy.
  • Develop creative, shareable assets and campaigns for social media platforms that align with brand messaging and increase audience engagement.
  • Stay informed on social media trends and ensure that content strategies are forward-thinking and competitive within the fashion industry.
  • Develop and optimize content for email marketing campaigns, including newsletters, automated workflows, and promotional emails, ensuring the messaging is relevant and tailored to different customer segments.
  • Maintain and update website content, including product descriptions, landing pages, and blog posts, with a focus on SEO and driving online traffic.
  • Act as a guardian of the brand, ensuring that all customer-facing content, whether online or offline, maintains a cohesive and consistent tone.
  • Monitor brand perception across all customer touchpoints, responding to trends and feedback to refine messaging and uphold the brand’s reputation.


What are we looking for?


  • A minimum 2 years’ experience in managing search campaigns in-house or agency based.
  • Proactive, resilient and an excellent communicator.
  • Experience in conception, creation and implementation of content strategies to deliver measurable performance for clients
  • Strong decision making and time management skills to prioritise personal workload and that of the team.
