Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Assembler on behalf of a client based in Halesfield. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience with hand and power tools.
Responsibilities
- Assemble components and products according to specifications and quality standards.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete assembly tasks.
- Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure they meet required standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to optimise assembly processes and improve efficiency.
- Assist in the inventory management of parts and materials used in the assembly process.
Qualifications
- Proven mechanical knowledge, with a strong understanding of assembly processes.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Previous experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment is essential.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring high-quality standards are met consistently.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to report issues or improvements effectively.
Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 7am-pm and Friday 7am-1pm. Temp to perm
