Who are we?

Code Ninjas is the nation’s fastest growing kids coding franchise. In our studio, kids aged between 5 and 14 years learn to code in a fun way by playing and building video games they love. Kids have a blast as they develop their STEM skills and cannot wait to come back to the Dojo. Parents are thrilled as their children gain confidence and new skills including coding, maths, logic, critical thinking and problem-solving as they progress through our martial arts-based curriculum. Job Description

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a part time Studio Manager Assistant to join our dynamic, energetic and

forward-thinking team, working towards our collective goal of providing a fun and safe learning

environment for children. We would like our Studio Manager Assistant to be passionate about

creating a safe and fun environment for our children (our Ninjas) to thrive in. We would like you

to be someone who enjoys interacting with children and their parents, someone who is

dependable and reliable – key traits that will instil comfort and confidence in the parents who are

leaving their child in your care. In return, Code Ninjas Camden will give you a fun and inspiring environment that will enable you to develop your organisational and leadership skills in a role that will help shape the minds of our

future leaders.


Day to day duties

• Be the face of the business, assisting in running the classes in an organised and efficient

manner.

• Support the team of tutors (Sensei) who will be teaching the children in the class (dojo).

• Ensuring all health & safety measures are always maintained in the dojo.

• Ensure all systems are kept up to date – Dojo (our game-based teaching system), CCRM

and our booking appointment system.

• Report regularly to Studio Manager

• Run Dojo when management is on leave.

• Point of contact for parents, regarding any enquires and ensuring that parents

understand how their child is progressing.

• Ensuring class equipment and stocks are up to date.

• Working with management team to design and organise camps for the studio during the

holiday periods.

• Working with parents to understand and define their child’s learning needs.

• Pro-actively resolving any operational problems in a logical manner.

• Along with the management team, helping keep social media accounts up to date.

• Have a keen interest in technology and willing to complete the curriculum.

• Update progress of kids on our system so parents can view it.

• Effectively communicate with kids and provide an engaging environment.

• Engage with children and families in the dojo.

• Be able to guide students in a logical manner.

• Overall making sure, all the children, parents and Sensei are happy and thriving in our

Dojo.


Business Development

Following up on all potential leads including from our social media campaigns.

• Scheduling tours and taster sessions to help attract new children to the Dojo.

• Devising and implementing innovative ideas to bring in new business.

• Assisting management in implementing various marketing campaigns including social

media to promote the business.

• Seek out new opportunities and develop new ideas to take the company forwards,

including partnerships with local businesses.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

Essential

You will need to have a fun, energetic and ‘can-do’ attitude, with the following essential skills or

experience:

• Must be personable with customers and have excellent communication skills from a

minimum of 5 years retail, face-to-face customer experience.

• Must be confident and enjoy working with young children (5-14 years).

• Minimum secondary school education.

• Familiar with the basic functions of Word, Excel, Outlook and able to learn our simple IT

systems.

• Must be fun to work with and enjoy working in a dynamic environment.


We would love to see but not essential:

• Experience of working with children aged 5 and up in a school or after school

environment.

• Have patience and a passion for technology

• Strong analytical and logical skills.

• Experience of using social media and running marketing campaigns
