Job Description
Our client, a leading company in the roofing and cladding industry, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with expertise in roofing and cladding to join their dynamic team. Specializing in delivering high-quality projects, our client is looking for a professional who can manage costs efficiently and ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the financial aspects of roofing and cladding projects from start to completion.
Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and pricing for roofing and cladding works.
Oversee tendering, procurement, and contract negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers.
Monitor project costs, track progress, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Prepare valuations, manage variations, and produce final accounts for projects.
Provide cost control and value engineering solutions to optimize project delivery.
Work closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless project execution.
Conduct site visits to monitor progress and resolve cost-related issues.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and health & safety protocols.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the roofing, cladding, or construction sector.
Strong understanding of roofing and cladding systems, materials, and processes.
Expertise in cost estimation, budgeting, contract management, and procurement.
Proficient with industry-specific software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Relevant qualifications (Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction, or a related field).
