Stores Person

We are seeking an experienced Stores Person with strong forklift skills and IT proficiency for our client, a leading industrial company in Scunthorpe. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm. After initial training, the position will transition to a shift-based schedule. This opportunity is temporary with the potential to become permanent.

Key Responsibilities:

Working within the steelworks stores, you will be responsible for:

Safely handling materials and equipment
Loading and unloading deliveries
Verifying goods received and conducting stock checks
Maintaining a well-organised and clean stores environment
Supporting efficient stores operations through initiative and independent work
What We’re Looking For:

Strong FLT skills (counterbalance essential; reach truck experience beneficial)
Proficiency in IT and experience with inventory databases
Full, clean UK driving license
Ability to work unsupervised with a proactive approach
