Finance Assistant - Temp to Perm Opportunity

About the Role
Are you detail-oriented, motivated, and looking to grow your career in finance? Manpower UK is recruiting for a Finance Assistant on behalf of our client in Worthing. This role is offered on a temporary-to-permanent basis, with the opportunity to become a permanent team member after 3 months.
This is your chance to join a well-established company where you'll play a key role in supporting the Finance Manager and ensuring smooth financial operations.
What You'll Do
Prepare and process financial documents, such as account balances and purchase forms.
Provide administrative support to the Finance team, including document management and filing.
Assist in gathering and organising documentation for audits and compliance reviews.
Manage accounts receivable tasks, including chasing overdue debt and resolving queries.
Process purchase invoices and assist with accounts payable.
Reconcile bank statements and support payment runs.
Perform data entry, reconciliation, and maintain accurate financial records.
Support stocktakes and cycle counts as needed.
Liaise professionally with vendors and customers to resolve payment or invoice issues.Working Hours
40 hours per week:
Monday - Thursday: 07:00 - 16:00
Friday: 07:00 - 11:00
Immediate start availableWhat We're Looking For
Experience: 1-2 years in finance, accounting, or bookkeeping.
Skills: Strong numerical aptitude, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and excellent communication skills.
Attributes: A motivated team player with high integrity, superb attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Why This Role?
