Skilled Maintenance Operative
Location: Wimbledon – SW19 1JZ
Salary: £34,272
Hours / Shifts per week: 37.5 hrs

About the Role
As a Maintenance Operative at Evolve, you will play a crucial role as part of the team maintaining our properties to the highest standards.
You will be responsible for a range of tasks, including:
*
Reactive Maintenance: Promptly responding to and resolving maintenance issues.
*
Planned Preventative Maintenance: Conducting regular maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns.
*
Refurbishments: Carrying out refurbishment projects to improve our properties.
*
Customer Service: Interacting with residents and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner.
*
Health and Safety: Adhering to all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
*
Carry out a variety of maintenance tasks, including plumbing, carpentry, painting, and tiling.
*
Respond to emergency maintenance calls.
*
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
*
Complete work orders accurately and efficiently.
*
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
*
Comply with all health and safety regulations.
*
Work effectively as part of a team.
*
Provide excellent customer service.
Essential Skills and Experience:
*
Experience in property maintenance.
*
Strong practical skills, including plumbing, carpentry, electrical and painting.
*
Possess a good understanding of health and safety regulations and be committed to working in a safe manner.
*
The ability to identify and solve problems independently and make informed decisions.
*
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*
Good communication skills.
*
Good basic IT skills.
*
A valid UK driving license.
