High voltage project manager

About the role
As a High Voltage Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of electrical projects from inception to completion. You will utilise your expertise in electrical engineering and project management to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
* Develop comprehensive policies, project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with the project team.
* Coordinate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure efficient project execution.
* Conduct regular project meetings to review progress, identify potential risks and implement corrective actions as needed.
* Provide technical guidance and support to project teams on high-voltage electrical systems, equipment, and regulations.
* Troubleshoot technical issues and propose effective solutions to ensure project success.
* Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and implement corrective measures.
* Serve as High Voltage Appointed Person, overseeing the safe operation and maintenance of high-voltage equipment and systems.
Qualifications.
* HND or degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
* High Voltage Appointed Person qualification (or equivalent certification) is required.
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in electrical project management, with a focus on high-voltage systems and infrastructure.
* Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale electrical projects from conception to completion.
* Strong technical knowledge of high-voltage electrical systems, equipment, and regulations.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in project management software and tools.
* Ability to travel to project sites and client locations as needed.
* DBS check to be completed prior to start date.
* A legal right to work in the UK.
