Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching English at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, and will be committed to delivering high-quality lessons that inspire students and cultivate a love for literature and language.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons that meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support to facilitate their development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop a cohesive English curriculum that aligns with national standards.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to support student achievement and well-being.
- Stay current with educational best practices and incorporate innovative teaching methods into the classroom.
Qualifications:
- A relevant degree in English or a related field.
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Proven experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4 levels.
- Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.
